70: – 70 0804- The “SRG” Strat for John Sullivan (2004)

Made to John Sullivan’s specifications, made of Southern Swamp Ash with maple neck and striped ebony fret board. The guitar has a glued in neck and is of similar construction to Richard Kornas’s “Mudflapocaster”. The machine heads are Gotoh traditional Strat type with “Magnum Lock”. Pickups are Kinman pickups, purchased by John. Timber, hardware and labour were provided in exchange for John’s locking system Japanese Strat. The guitar is finished in Tobacco Sunburst. “JBS” is inlaid at the twelfth fret position in mother-of-pearl. After some four years of constant use, there has been no movement in the neck whatsoever.
