Richards Guitars is no more…

The time has come to retire, take up bowls and enjoy the grandchildren…

Well, no, I’m not taking up bowls, and I still intend to look after my long standing valued customers who, over the past twenty five years or so, have trusted me with their precious instruments for adjustment and servicing.

But no more one-off builds, no more “impossible” repairs, no more custom paint jobs and no more time consuming restorations…

Hopefully though, I’ll still have people building instruments with me and I can still find the time for people who want my help and advice on all things guitar…

I’m still at 126 Brittain Street, Mt Pleasant, just behind Sovereign Hill in Ballarat, Victoria.
You can contact me on 0437 744 699, Monday to Friday, and because I’m not as young as I used to be, visit is by appointment only…

My email address is still:-
